WEBINAR

Funding a Head Start Model that Will Change the Course of Children’s Lives

Strategies for a Winning Head Start Application

On Demand

Duration: 60 minutes

In September, the Office of Head Start will release over $1 billion in Head Start funding competitions for communities in 38 states across the country. Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide comprehensive services to support the children and families impacted by poverty, and these programs have a transformational, life-long impact on children and families. The success or failure of new Head Start program models depend largely on the applications for funding, which ultimately ensure there is a funding structure that meets the needs of the specific community.

In this webinar, we received an overview of the Head Start funding opportunities from Jeffrey Capizzano, President of The Policy Equity Group. He provided participants concrete takeaways for developing a vision and strategy for writing a compelling Head Start application.
