Literacy program looking for new participants

Article Summary:

Read Aloud Delaware launched LENA Start classes in October 2020, helping nine families to learn how to boost conversations with their children and support early brain development. So far, the program has been successful and well received.

“Parents feel that the LENA Start program is extremely valuable in augmenting their child’s development,” said Stacy Penaranda, Read Aloud Delaware’s Sussex County coordinator and a LENA facilitator.

Families who are interested in joining the next session are encouraged to sign up now. It will run from January 14-March 18. Details are available at readalouddelaware.org
