Popular Science featured an article by Kate Gammon that tells the story of LENA Start from a parent’s perspective. As part of her research for the article, Ms. Gammon completed LENA recordings with her three-year-old son and attended a LENA Start parent group session. The session was implemented by San Mateo County Libraries, one of several organizations in five cities nationwide that have partnered with LENA and adopted LENA Start to improve early language in their region.
