“It’s like a crash course for new parents,” Mesquite ISD Community Liaison Lindsay Paris said. “I really think a lot of parents want to interact with their kids, but they just don’t know how and they feel like they don’t have the resources to do so. LENA Start empowers parents and gives them really practical ways that they can implement what we’re teaching in the sessions.”
